MediaEvent Services is pleased to announce the launch of its new webcast interface with the Leica Scientific Forum.
The interface leverages AJAX technologies to deliver a rich user experience, including a Slideflow control mimicking the popular Cover Flow navigation, across all major browsers.
It uses the recently released Microsoft Silverlight 1.0 platform to stream to Windows, Mac OS X and Internet Explorer 5, 6 und 7, Firefox 1.5 and 2 as well as Safari. That’s webcasting 2.0. Read the rest of this entry »

“That’s MTV reloaded”. The five hour long EMA backstage chat was positively received by guests, managers and viewers alike. Even Justin Timberlake, this year’s host of the Award-Show, did a little announcement from our “corner”. British comedian Michael Legge and newcomers Juliette & the Licks put together a great show that featured many down-to-earth artist chats and impromptu jam sessions. MediaEvent Services was responsible for the technical realization of the online show, including VIP chat, livestreams, and on-demand content processing.
